Soldier Field Home of the Chicago Bears!
Big sports fans love Chicago! When visiting in the Fall don’t miss out on the chance to watch the Bears play at home at Soldier Field. One of the most storied franchises in sports, in a venue offering one of the best atmospheres in the NFL. Soldier Field is also host to world class concerts, college football, international soccer & rugby along with many other timeless events. Check out their events calendar to plan your visit!
Millennium Park is a gorgeous oasis in the heart of the city that offers a collection of unique pubic art pieces, including the famous Cloud Gate (affectionately known as ‘the bean’) by British artist Anish Kapoor. Inspired by liquid mercury, it’s stainless-steel surface reflects the activity in the park and the light of the surrounding city skyline, inviting visitors to touch and interact with its mirror-like surface. The Lurie garden is a lush 3.5 acre piece of landscape architecture that’s open year-round, and offers guided walks and educational experiences for those interested in exploring. With a full range of cultural events programming for all ages, there’s always something happening in the park!
While visiting the city, exploring the Chicago Riverwalk is a definite must! The award-winning pedestrian-friendly 1.25 mile long path follows the Chicago River from Lakeshore Drive to Lake Street, and offers more than just amazing views and Instagrammable photo opportunities (although those are reasons enough to explore!). You’ll find trendy bars and restaurants, cafes, public art, museums, and more! Discover more about the Riverwalk from our friends at Choose Chicago.
