With new restaurants popping up frequently in downtown Los Angeles’ expanding core, it can be hard to keep up. That’s why this week on the blog, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite new eateries downtown, all within walking distance of LEVEL Furnished Living!

 

Fundamentals

Not even two weeks new, the popular West LA restaurant Fundamentals has opened its doors in downtown Los Angeles. The bright and beautiful dining room features white leather, tiles and blond wood, with plenty of lush greenery as decor. As of now, Fundamentals serves gourmet baked goods and specialty coffees, as well as classic, crowd-pleasing breakfast and lunch dishes. Dinner and cocktails will be coming soon, so stay tuned!

Sakana Sushi

Located just next to our apartment lobby, Sakana Sushi Lounge officially opened its doors on September 21st. Offering hand selected fish and creative cuisine in a stylish space, Sakana’s thoughtful and flavorful selections come with decades of experience. While it may not be a sit-down restaurant, people are raving about this new build-your-own pasta bar in the Corporation Food Hall. An innovative way to serve pasta that seems long overdue, at Funculo you choose the type of noodles, sauce, and toppings to customize your dish. Made with care and creativity, expect great quality ingredients and friendly service.

The Mighty

Open for just over a month now, The Mighty was worth the wait. While the menu is simple, it offers salads, toasts, and house made pastas, as well as a generous half Rotisserie chicken. A gorgeous open space, The Mighty’s minimalistic vibe features bright tiles, wooden tables, and green accents.
