Where better to experience the endless summer than the beach? With the recent opening of the Metro Expo Line extension, you can go metro and travel from downtown LA to Santa Monica in 45 minutes.  One of the most classic stretches of sand, Santa Monica Beach offers plenty of space to stretch the legs, play a game of volleyball or go for a bike ride. Bring the sunscreen, a beach towel and let the sun, sand and surf do the rest.
