Today we are introducing Ana Valencia, who has been part the team since day one as a Guest Services Agent!
Where are you from?
I’m from El Salvador. I have been in Los Angeles for over 20 years and I love it here.
How long have you been with LEVEL?
I have worked at LEVEL since they’ve opened. Last week was my two year anniversary!
What is a typical day at work like?
Busy! I’m dedicated to ensuring all notes are placed in our system, guests are catered to, and items are placed in suites prior to guest arrival. I also make sure to have everything in order for the oncoming afternoon shift. It is my personal goal to make sure the check in and check out process is extremely easy and pleasant for each and every guest.
What is the best part of your job?
Taking care of the guests is the best part of my job. I love making the guests happy and making sure they enjoy their stay.
What has been your most memorable moment or experience working at LEVEL?
I have so many. All moments and each day is great. I cannot choose just one. My entire experience working at LEVEL has been awesome.
What is your favorite thing about DTLA?
DTLA is close to everything. It is easy to travel to the beach, Pasadena, museums, etc. There have also been many changes during the last 10 years. It has been wonderful to see the change and be apart of the growth.
What is your favorite restaurant in the area?
Terroni’s. The pasta is delicious.
Where is your favorite place to grab coffee?
Philz Coffee on 8th and Hope.
Favorite way to relax and unwind?
I do acupuncture once a week. It helps me clear my mind. I also enjoy cooking with my children. We have so much fun together.
