For the 17th year in a row, Vancouver’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Bash is back In support of the Make A Wish Foundation. Head to Venue Nightclub on the evening of Thursday, December 20th to enjoy drinks and live music, all in the name of a good cause.

For the first time ever, Vancouver’s Concord Pacific Place has been transformed into a magical winter wonderland for the Aurora Winter Festival. The massive family-friendly event has a number of holiday-inspired activities such as Santa’s Workshop, amusement rides, a frozen river for ice skating and even a tube park. Enjoy local bites and live caroling as you take in all that Aurora has to offer.

 

Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge

Overcome your fear of heights and head to the North Shore to check out the Capilano Suspension Bridge’s annual Canyon Lights. The exhibition features the Treetops Adventure, a series of seven suspension bridges attached to eight 250-year-old Douglas Firs with viewing platforms at each point. Live carolers and gingerbread cookie decorating will also be on-site throughout the holiday season.

 

Festival of Lights at VanDusen Botanical Garden

Known as the garden of Vancouver, VanDusen puts on one of the most beautiful light shows in the city. Take a family photo with Santa before strolling through the gardens as you enjoy a hot cider. Don’t forget to stop and watch the dancing lights at Livingston Lake, which run every 20 minutes.
